A Romantic Ghost

Those ghost chasing reality shows are still quite popular.  If they last and are still the rage until the Enterprise D's launch and space faring era, maybe Dr. Crusher could be a consultant for them in both the romantic arena and the paranormal.

In the seventh season episode, Sub Rosa, Crusher (Gates McFadden) gets quite the ghostly encounter. Writer Jeri Taylor, a producer on TNG, and writer for the tale calls it a 'romance novel in space.'  It certainly qualifies as such, but it also ranks as the most direct parallel to a ghost story ever to appear in Star Trek.  Dr. Crusher gives the eulogy at her grandmother's funeral, only to later be obsessed with quitting Starfleet and taking up residence in her Nana's house.  Is this the end of Dr. Crusher's tenure on Captain Picard's starship?

Captain Picard must approve his Chief Medical Officer's resignation, but he still worries for her, and for good reason. A mystery man known as Ronin, who romanced Crusher's Nana, has now set his romantic sights on Dr. Crusher. Turns out Ronin is a creature composed of 'anaphasic energy' - yet another parasitic lifeform who feeds on humans; here, by possessing a person's body and using them as a host and feeding vessel. In the end, Crusher is forced to destroy the charismatic creature, but realizes its romantic embrace brought great happiness to much of her family - including herself.

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - The Borg Queen (Voyager) - Susanna Thompson

The Borg Queen (Alice Krige) ruled over her drones in Star Trek: First Contact, the 2nd feature film to showcase the Next Generation cast, including:  Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis, Levar Burton, Michael Dorn and Gates McFadden.  However, for the UPN TV show, Star Trek: Voyager, actress Susanna Thompson filled the considerably powerful latex suit vacated by Krige.
Before her stint as the Borg monarch, Thompson portrayed two characters on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and can also be seen in the Deep Space Nine episode, Rejoined - opposite Terry Farrell who played Dax, the Trill.  Thompson has had a wide ranging, high profile career in TV and has appeared on shows such as The X-Files, CSI and NYPD Blue.

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight: Kellin - Virginia Madsen

Captain Janeway's Voyager kept up the trek back home from the Delta Quadrant to the Alpha Quadrant for seven seasons.  Along the way, Kate Mulgrew (Orange Is The New Black) and her crew encountered bizarre, sexy aliens and some familiar, yet frightening faces like the rampaging Borg.  One of the most unforgettable - in the episode of the same name - was Kellin played by actress Virginia Madsen.

Madsen has had quite a memorable acting career, and she was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in the 2004 film, Sideways, co-starring Paul Giamatti (Private Parts) and Thomas Hayden Church.  Kellin's people had the peculiar ability to make all others forget about their very existence, after only a few short hours of meeting them.  Talk about not making an impression!

Star Trek Sexy Aliens - B'Elanna Torres - Roxann Dawson

Star Trek: Voyager is the third spin-off TV show from Gene Roddenberry's classic series.  Focused on the Starfleet Starship Voyager, lost in space, and helmed by Captain Katherine Janeway (Kate Mulgrew), the show premiered on the UPN network in 1995.  Among the crew was a half human, half Klingon woman - B'Elanna Torres, played by actress Roxann Dawson.

B'Elanna became the starship's Chief Engineer and her excellent tech skills managed to save the ship and crew on more than one occasion.  One thing she constantly had to work on was her fiery temper.

The Klingon side of her would roar forth and Torres would do all she could to reign it back in and calm down.  Eventually, she hooked up with the intrepid helmsman, Lt. Tom Paris (Robert Duncan McNeil) and they not only wed, but had a baby together.
