Some casual Trek fans may never have seen Khan outside of the blockbuster motion picture Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. Played with memorable gusto by Ricardo Montalban, the villainous, though charismatic Khan was introduced in the classic, original series, Space Seed.
After nearly killing him and commandeering his starship, Captain Kirk (William Shatner) regrets releasing the Earth despot from his deep hibernation on the cryogenic ship - the SS Botany Bay.
Hey, shit happens.

Hallmark Christmas Ornament - Spock's Death
It may not be everyone's idea of an acceptable festive tree ornament, because hey, it's a death scene, but every Trekkie or Trekker would put this on their Christmas tree.

Khan And His Legendary Chest
Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! Ah, that legendary line in that legendary movie. What's even more legendary (and hypnotic) is Khan's impressive chest. The Chest of Khan, indeed.
Yeah. You know you can't......

Carol Marcus - Federation Scientist & A Starfleet Captain's Love
Can I cook, or can't I? Dr. Carol Marcus, one of the United Federation of Planets top scientists, is responsible for creating the massively complex Genesis Device. This awesomely powerful energy device can literally re-imagine a world into something new. We meet this innovative visionary in the feature film, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and marvel at the great potential of her Genesis Device to accomplish terraforming.
Played by Bibi Besch (Tremors), Dr. Marcus has more than a friendly familiarity with one Captain James T. Kirk. Back in the day, the two professionals were intense flames, and their union even produced a son, David - who works with Marcus on the terraforming project. Sadly, at the close of the film, we see that although Carol Marcus tried to give the galaxy a potentially remarkable gift of creation, it devolves into a violent error of destruction.
In director J.J. Abrams' alternate reality do over of Wrath of Khan, Star Trek: Into Darkness (2013), Dr. Carol Marcus is played by British actress Alice Eve.

Star Trek Villains - The Bad Guys & Gals
Star Trek loves to showcase the bad guys and gals. From Khan (Ricardo Montalban) to Kang (Michael Ansara) and Sybok (Laurence Luckinbill) to the Borg Queen (Alice Krige), the universe that producer Gene Roddenberry created way back in 1966 loves to give us a few black hat wearing villains to mightily mix things up. Set phasers on evil grin!

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - Saavik - Kirstie Alley
Star Trek gave Kirstie Alley her first feature film role in the Nicholas Meyer directed, Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. Before she was stuffy corporate executive Rebecca Howe opposite Ted Danson in the now iconic sitcom, Cheers, she impressed us as an Enterprise officer. Playing Lt. Saavik, Alley fleshed out the beautiful, but reserved Starfleet officer, who was the able protege of Leonard Nimoy's Spock.
Alley was to reprise her role in the next Trek installment, Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, but reportedly asked for too much money to get back the plum gig. The now vacant part then went to actress Robin Curtis, who would also play Saavik in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. Alley has since become an A List Hollywood star, though she's courted controversy over the years from everything to her weight and waistline to her Scientology affiliation and friendship with actor and co-star John Travolta (Look Who's Talking), but she's never far from the public's fascination and admiration.

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight: Khan Noonien Singh - Ricardo Montalban
Star Trek sexy villains deliver both a sense of danger and even a sexual magnetism. Take The Borg Queen from Star Trek: First Contact: played by Alice Krige (Stephen King's Sleepwalkers), the Queen of those cybernetic zombies is both frightening and seductive. Before she tried to seduce Data by transforming him into a flesh and blood human - or at least something akin to one - there was a genetically enhanced human being from Earth - Khan. Played by Ricardo Montalban, the character defines the raw sexuality of Gene Roddenberry's universe.
First showcased in the memorable TOS episode, Space Seed, opposite actress Madlyn Rue, Khan was later utilized by producer Harve Bennett (The Bionic Woman) and director Nicholas Meyer (Time After Time) to fuel the villain flames of the iconic feature film, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. After a respected career in films and TV, Montalban became best known as the enigmatic Mr. Rourke on the classic TV show Fantasy Island. Khan may not have fulfilled anyone's fantasy, only gave a few of us nightmares, but the two characters definitely had charisma to spare.
