I am The Goddess of Empathy. Cast off your inhibitions and embrace love, truth, joy. Empathy Goddess Troi
Lt. Barclay programmed the Enterprise holodeck to create a version of Counselor Troi, which was shall we say, heavenly. The Greek idealized counselor wouldn't only preach to anyone ill advised to listen to preachy sermons on being one with your emotions, but would carry on romantically with Master Barclay of the holodeck.
Barclay, played by Dwight Schultz, would have to finally admit the extent of his holodeck addiction. In coming clean, he would gain more strength and control of his real life, by setting aside his fantasy life of playing in his holographic dream world. While it lasted though, for Barclay anyway, it was one hell of a good time.

Counselor Troi's Romance
Captain Picard's Enterprise D may not have been staffed with as randy a crew as Captain Kirks, but those Next Generation Starfleet officers still found some time for singular pleasures.
Counselor Troi - played by Marina Sirtis - listened to the romantic problems of many. When it came to her own romance issues, however, I guess Troi only confided in her friend Dr. Crusher on the ups and downs of her on again/off again romance with Commander Riker, or her Imzadi, the Betazed word for beloved one. In the episode, The Price, Troi is swept off her feet - in all possible ways - by a suave, telepathic negotiator, Devinoni Ral - played by Matt McCoy.

Riker Is A Man Who Uses Enterprise Tech In Surprising Ways
Leave it to William T. Riker. He's a man with a sneaky plan. Captain Picard's Number One uses the fantastic technology of the Enterprise's Trek universe in so many wonderful ways. This meme proves Riker is a man who truly loves using the transporter, but not in any normal Starfleet way. Regulations? They aren't in the poker playing cards for good, ole rebel WTR!
What's next, Will? More silly practical jokes? Worf loses his uniform pants during the teaching of his Klingon martial arts class? Are you going to use that nifty matter replication device to put hair back on Jean-Luc's bald dome? Is Mr. LaForge helping you out? Data? Captain Picard will now shout, 'Engage - my new hair!'

The Many Looks Of Counselor Troi - Marina Sirtis
Star Trek is known for many things. Fans love the starships - the Enterprise, the Defiant, the Excelsior, the USS Voyager. Collectors love to buy their own prop replicas of the phasers or tricorders or communicators. And one of the other things highly noted about Star Trek are the uniforms and costumes. Perhaps no other character - certainly a regular cast member - had as many looks and costumes as the lovely Counselor of NCC-1701-D - Deanna Troi.
She showcased purple dresses and lavender, and blue and something in between. She wore regulation command uniforms and skirts and skants and all sorts of other things. One thing's for certain, Counselor Troi kept up with the fashionable side of things during her tour of duty. Engage & set phasers on FASHION!

Star Trek Spotlight - Toreth - Carolyn Seymour - Face of the Enemy
Romulan Commanders are known for supreme control over their crews and themselves. In the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, Face of the Enemy, actress Carolyn Seymour plays Toreth - a woman who must face off with Starfleet officer Troi whose undercover as a Romulan secret service agent. Troi (Marina Sirtis) plays a kind of CIA and KGB mash-up, an agent of the sinister Tal Shiar.
Toreth has a personal grudge against the Tal Shiar - her father was executed by them for his less than mainstream political views. Though Troi has to do her duty as a Starfleet officer, it's clear she's pained when she much clash with such a principled woman as Toreth, who under difference circumstances, may just be someone the Counselor would call fond acquaintance or even friend.

Alice Krige - The Borg Queen - Sexiest Borg Mom of Star Trek
I am the beginning... the end... the one who is many. I am the Borg. Alice Krige is The Borg Queen of Star Trek.
South African actress Alice Krige fleshed out the seductive temptress The Borg Queen in the feature film Star Trek: First Contact, directed by Jonathan Frakes - Will Riker himself. She time warped back to the past to wreck havoc on Earth, tried to stop Zephram Cochrane's historic first warp drive launch and almost assimilated the crew of Captain Picard's (Locutus) Enterprise into her Borg brood.
She very nearly succeeded in tempting Data with the pleasures of the flesh - if only for a scant few microseconds.

Star Trek: The Next Generation Meets Fifty Shades of Grey
Let's see what sex is out there..... Star Trek sex can get kinky. Fifty Shades Of Grey, for many, helps to define kinky.
Sex & Sci-Fi of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Fifty Shades of Grey may push the boundaries of novel and filmed sexuality in the mainstream, but Star Trek: The Next Generation definitely dabbled in mature sexuality too.

Counselor Troi Stands Above The Rest As Most Tortured Star Trek Character
Captain Picard's Enterprise had one thing that Captain Kirk never could boast of - a therapist.
Counselor Troi, played by the lovely Marina Sirtis, acted as psychologist and confidant to the crew members of the flagship Starship of Starfleet in Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek: The Next Generation. Her empathy abilities, while helpful, didn't have the same flash and action of say Data's positronic brain or android super speed or Worf's growling grufness.
Although she helped her colleagues through some rough times, nobody was there - at least professionally - for her to lean on through the tough challenges in her life - and there were plenty of them.
