Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - Zoe Saldana - Lt. Uhura

Star Trek: Into Darkness star Zoe Saldana loves science fiction.  That the actress picked to take over the iconic role made famous by Nichelle Nichols is a big fan herself assures other fans the franchise is in safe hands.  Saldana grew up with a trekkie mother and loving movies like The Terminator and Blade Runner.  These days, she sits on the bridge of Starfleet's flagship starship - the Enterprise.  The beautiful actress loves sci-fi, and now she's an important part of one of the biggest sci-fi franchises in history.

Rotten Tomatoes rates the movies and Star Trek boasts many a theatrical entry.  With 12 feature films under its franchise belt, the somewhat obscure NBC TV show created by Gene Roddenberry and produced by Lucille Ball's Desilu back in 1966 is still flourishing today.  From the high of 2009's Star Trek from director J.J. Star Trek Villains - The Bad Guys & Gals

Star Trek loves to showcase the bad guys and gals.  From Khan (Ricardo Montalban) to Kang (Michael Ansara) and Sybok (Laurence Luckinbill) to the Borg Queen (Alice Krige), the universe that producer Gene Roddenberry created way back in 1966 loves to give us a few black hat wearing villains to mightily mix things up.  Set phasers on evil grin!

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - Saavik - Kirstie Alley

Star Trek gave Kirstie Alley her first feature film role in the Nicholas Meyer directed, Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan.  Before she was stuffy corporate executive Rebecca Howe opposite Ted Danson in the now iconic sitcom, Cheers, she impressed us as an Enterprise officer.  Playing Lt. Saavik, Alley fleshed out the beautiful, but reserved Starfleet officer, who was the able protege of Leonard Nimoy's Spock.

Alley was to reprise her role in the next Trek installment, Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, but reportedly asked for too much money to get back the plum gig.  The now vacant part then went to actress Robin Curtis, who would also play Saavik in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.  Alley has since become an A List Hollywood star, though she's courted controversy over the years from everything to her weight and waistline to her Scientology affiliation and friendship with actor and co-star John Travolta (Look Who's Talking), but she's never far from the public's fascination and admiration.

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight: Khan Noonien Singh - Ricardo Montalban

Star Trek sexy villains deliver both a sense of danger and even a sexual magnetism.  Take The Borg Queen from Star Trek: First Contact: played by Alice Krige (Stephen King's Sleepwalkers), the Queen of those cybernetic zombies is both frightening and seductive.  Before she tried to seduce Data by transforming him into a flesh and blood human - or at least something akin to one - there was a genetically enhanced human being from Earth - Khan.  Played by Ricardo Montalban, the character defines the raw sexuality of Gene Roddenberry's universe.

First showcased in the memorable TOS episode, Space Seed, opposite actress Madlyn Rue, Khan was later utilized by producer Harve Bennett (The Bionic Woman) and director Nicholas Meyer (Time After Time) to fuel the villain flames of the iconic feature film, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. After a respected career in films and TV, Montalban became best known as the enigmatic Mr. Rourke on the classic TV show Fantasy Island.  Khan may not have fulfilled anyone's fantasy, only gave a few of us nightmares, but the two characters definitely had charisma to spare.
