Voyager Sexy Spotlight - Seska - Martha Hackett

Seska is the girl you definitely don't want to take home to Mother.  On the other hand, if you want a conniving, double dealing and basically psychopathic personality to join the family, perhaps Mom would take a real shine to her.  On Star Trek: Voyager, actress Martha Hackett brought to life a Bajoran who was really a Cardassian.

Seska, among many other interesting things, was a spy - surgically altered to appear a Bajoran. She'd romance Chakotay (Robert Beltran), then throw the love affair back in his face by carrying on with a Kazon heavy.  The ultimate betrayal would be her pretending to have Chakotay's baby, when in reality, it was the son of the Kazon Culluh. 

Star Trek Sex - Deep Space Nine or Terok Nor - Cardassian Space Station Turned Starfleet & Bajoran Outpost

Deep Space Nine is one incredible space station.  Even before Commander Sisko (Avery Brooks) took command of the outpost - the former Cardassian station called Terok Nor - the place had a definite reputation as the go to spot for all sorts of outrageous or even sexy 'adventures'.  When the Barjorans allied themselves with the United Federation of Planets, the station was renamed Deep Space Nine or DS9, and Starfleet stationed officers to assist Bajor.

It would become the place to fuel up - both yourself and your ship - before taking a jaunt into the Bajoran Wormhole into the Gamma Quadrant.  Feel like a little gambling or need to relax over a few drinks?  Quarks is the happening place.  Be warned though - security is always vigilant.  Constable Odo (Rene Auberjonois) doesn't like any behavior that's too fun - i.e. not lawful.  By the time Quark or another of his Ferengi staff have sold you a few those pretty and 'affordable gems', you could find yourself spending a few days and nights in the brig for trafficking in stolen merchandise.  It may be worth it though, the Dabo girls are famous for being some of the sexiest gals in the cosmos.

Next Generation Spotlight - Nurse Ogawa - Patti Yasutake

She was the capable nurse and friend to Chief Medical Officer Dr. Beverly Crusher, played by Gates McFadden.  Nurse Ogawa (Patti Yasutake) performed beyond the call of duty on many occasions, and she even was 'devolved' in the TNG episode, Genesis - which Gates McFadden directed.

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - Lt. Yar - Denise Crosby

She kept order as Security Chief on Captain Picard's Enterprise for only one season, but Lt. Yar (Denise Crosby) was an unforgettable character.  Her lean, athletic body, confident manner and piercing blue eyes let all those around her know she always meant business.

Denise Crosby went on to star in feature films like Pet Sematary, but returned to The Next Generation in the time tripping episode Yesterday's Enterprise, and then played her own daughter, the half Romulan, half human Sela in the episodes Unification and Redemption.  Crosby would go on to produce and host the definitive Trek fan documentary Trekkies and its sequel Trekkies 2.

The Many Looks Of Counselor Troi - Marina Sirtis

Star Trek is known for many things.  Fans love the starships - the Enterprise, the Defiant, the Excelsior, the USS Voyager.  Collectors love to buy their own prop replicas of the phasers or tricorders or communicators.  And one of the other things highly noted about Star Trek are the uniforms and costumes.  Perhaps no other character - certainly a regular cast member - had as many looks and costumes as the lovely Counselor of NCC-1701-D - Deanna Troi.

She showcased purple dresses and lavender, and blue and something in between.  She wore regulation command uniforms and skirts and skants and all sorts of other things.  One thing's for certain, Counselor Troi kept up with the fashionable side of things during her tour of duty.  Engage & set  phasers on FASHION!

Star Trek Sexy Episode - Next Generation - Up The Long Ladder

Commander Riker never got the girl as much as Captain Kirk, but he still didn't do all that badly in the romance department.  During the 2nd season of Next Generation, in the episode, Up The Long Ladder, Riker (Jonathan Frakes) is propositioned by a lovely gal named Brenna.  He doesn't exactly put up a fight, but in the end he gets to the business of - ahem - foot washing.  "You generally start at the top, and work your way down.", Brenna advises him, and rest assured, cleaner feet are the result.

Star Trek: Into Darkness star Zoe Saldana loves science fiction.  That the actress picked to take over the iconic role made famous by Nichelle Nichols is a big fan herself assures other fans the franchise is in safe hands.  Saldana grew up with a trekkie mother and loving movies like The Terminator and Blade Runner.  These days, she sits on the bridge of Starfleet's flagship starship - the Enterprise.  The beautiful actress loves sci-fi, and now she's an important part of one of the biggest sci-fi franchises in history.

What's The Sexiest Star Trek Show?

Borg Queen (Alice Krige) VS Borg Queen (Susanna Thompson)

They Are The One Who Is Many - They Are The Borg.  The Borg Queen was originally fleshed out by Alice Krige in the film, Star Trek: First Contact (directed by Jonathan Frakes), then played by Susanna Thompson on Star Trek: Voyager.  In a real world monarchy, there may not be enough room for two ruling Queens, but in the Trek universe, we have two Borg Queens who sit on the throne at various times.

Both actresses embodied the enigma which is hallmark of the creepy cybernetic marauders.  The Borg are rampaging technology thieves who will stop at nothing to acquire more gadgets.  Their queen is the most valuable gadget of them all - she is the one who brings order to chaos.

Ensign Ro - Michelle Forbes

She was the Bajoran with the checkered past who gave Commander Riker more than a little pause when she came aboard the Enterprise NCC-1701-D for a vital mission.  Played by actress Michelle Forbes, Ro Laren - or Laren Ro, since Bajorans use their surname first - would eventually become an important part of Captain Picard's Enterprise.

Kirk VS Picard - Sexy Shat or Sexy Stew?

The Kirk or The Picard?  The Shat or the Stew?  The original or the next generation?  Star Trek fans have more than just Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) when it comes to choosing the sexier starship commander, but let's face it - these are the two we most often watch.  Set phasers on seductive poses!

Vulcan, heal thyself.  In the case of the medical professional Dr. Selar (Suzie Plakson), she's all about healing the crew of Captain Picard's Enterprise.  Selar is one of those characters who - although only actually appearing in one TNG episode, The Schizoid Man -  fans love and want to know get to know better.  Despite her only appearance, Selar is mentioned in many other episodes.  Plakson's most famous other Trek character was playing Worf's doomed love, the fiery, human Klingon hybrid, K'Ehlyer.

We met the enigmatic Kes (Jennifer Lien) on Voyager.  She was an Occampan - an alien species who didn't have a long lifespan. Voyager's Captain Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) took Kes and boyfriend Neelix (Ethan Phillips) into the fold.  She relied upon their knowledge of the Delta Quadrant, as the starship made its journey home.  Kes had many looks during her tenure, and by the time of her departure, she had survived many incredible adventures.

Neelix became many things on Voyager - cook, host, guide, inspirational icon.  To some he was admirable, even cute - to others he was just plain annoying.  However, before he came aboard Janeway's starship, he had his own ship - the freighter, The Baxial.

Star Trek Sexy StarShips - The Delta Flyer From Voyager

Sexy is as sexy does.  In this case, sexy is as sexy flies - or warps.  Lt. Tom Paris loves piloting starships, and he loves tinkering in his spare time.  It was no wonder that he'd come up with the Delta Flyer.  The ship is sort of a shuttle craft on steroids.  During Voyager's long time in the Delta Quadrant, the Delta Flyer was created to answer a need for greater security and flexibility in the Starfleet vessel's trip back home to the Alpha Quadrant.  I wonder if Geordi LaForge was jealous?

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - T'Pring - Arelne Martel - Amok Time

Can a Vulcan be a bitch?  It all depends on your definition - of both, that is.  The sly, manipulating Vulcan beauty called T'Pring definitely demonstrates what many would call major bitchiness.  Of course to her - and students of Vulcan logic - her actions in the episode, Amok Time, are supremely logical.  Played by actress Arlene Martel, T'Pring impresses us with her beauty and strategic mind.  Also, as the first Vulcan female to be seen on the original series, T'Pring becomes a kind of standard bearer for the gender - thankfully, though, her actions aren't a model for future Vulcan women like T'Pol of Enterprise.

After an ailing Spock must be taken to his home world by Kirk's Enterprise, T'Pring unveils a seamlessly logical trap for Spock.  Fight your Captain to the death - either kill or be killed.  Knowing whatever the outcome - whomever wins - means she'll still be basically alone on Vulcan to carry on with her lover Stonn, makes T'Pring one sexy Star Trek gal indeed - and yes, even a real bitch. 

The Women Of Star Trek

Recently, NBC broadcast a prime-time special - The Women of SNL.  It was a rebroadcast from 2010 - an hour long retrospective featuring female comic performers who've made Saturday Night Live must see TV.  Star Trek also has an NBC connection.  It premiered on the National Broadcasting Company back in 1966.  How about a special called - The Women Of Star Trek?

Star Trek Sexy Episode - The Next Generation - Justice

The Edo love to love.  It's really so simple.  They live on a planet paradise - well, mostly.  There's a catch.  They have a great and powerful, mysterious protector who loves them so much it would destroy anything which threatens them.  Poor Wesley Crusher (Wil Wheaton) gets into the mix and things turn ugly.

For the Edo, life is almost perfect.  Yet a fatherly protector always watches over them and strictly enforces the inflexible social rules.  Such is the powerful price of Edo love.

Spock's Bad Romance - Leila Kalomi - Jill Ireland

Captain Kirk wasn't the only Enterprise officer to get the girl.  First Officer Spock (Leonard Nimoy) wasn't exactly a slouch in the romance department - despite his conservative Vulcan cultural heritage and biological directive of mating once every seven years.  One of the more beautiful and loving of Spock's sweethearts was the human woman Leila Kalomi played by Jill Ireland.

In the original series episode, This Side Of Paradise, Spock reunites with Leila, but when the sparks don't fly again, she resorts to something rather tricky to rekindle their romance.  Lucky for her, the planet is home to alien spores which have an incredible effect on who they infect.  When Spock is exposed to them, all the burden of responsibilities he dutifully fulfills as a Starfleet officer suddenly vanish.  The Enterprise science officer soon surrenders to a prospect of spending his days with Leila on the idyllic world.  Of course, this doesn't sit well with his superior officer, the one and only Captain James T. Kirk.  It sets the stage for a doozy of a conflict - including one of the only bare knuckled brawls between the two pals.  With the spores influence and Spock's old flame's deception, this legendary bromance is definitely tested by Leila Kalomi.  Somewhere in space, we can hear Lady Gaga singing....

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - Tribbles

Who gets the most action in the Star Trek universe?  Captain Kirk flirting with those green skinned Orion beauties?  Vulcan Spock in his 7 year mating cycle?  7 years?!  That's Pon Too Farr!  And no, it's not that bearded wonder Commander Riker getting busy with Troi or fully functioning Data programmed in multiple techniques.  The most sexually productive creature of them all by far is the hairy little fuzzball known as the Tribble.

In the original series episode, The Trouble With Tribbles, Dr. McCoy established the fact that the little fuzzy beasts are literally born pregnant.  Most recently, the fur balls made an appearance in the feature film, Star Trek: Into Darkness.  Tribbles are hated by Klingons, so if you want to piss one off, simply put those purring fuzzballs to good use.  As Scotty would say, "It'll be no tribble at all!"

Star Trek Spotlight - Toreth - Carolyn Seymour - Face of the Enemy

Romulan Commanders are known for supreme control over their crews and themselves.  In the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, Face of the Enemy, actress Carolyn Seymour plays Toreth - a woman who must face off with Starfleet officer Troi whose undercover as a Romulan secret service agent.  Troi (Marina Sirtis) plays a kind of CIA and KGB mash-up, an agent of the sinister Tal Shiar.

Toreth has a personal grudge against the Tal Shiar - her father was executed by them for his less than mainstream political views.  Though Troi has to do her duty as a Starfleet officer, it's clear she's pained when she much clash with such a principled woman as Toreth, who under difference circumstances, may just be someone the Counselor would call fond acquaintance or even friend.

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - Mara - Day Of The Dove

In times of crisis, some of us panic, while others are paralyzed with fear.  It would be expected that a Klingon would merely grunt or growl and fight his or her way out.  Not so for the beautiful Klingon Mara, in the classic original episode, Day of the Dove. She not only kept her head - both literally and figuratively - while those all around her were losing their own, but she made a difference.  

After a ship full of Klingons, led by Kang (Michael Ansara), are taken aboard Kirk's starship, weirdness definitely happens.  Played by the lovely actress Susan Howard, Mara is Kang's wife.  Though frightened by the prospect of being raped and tortured by the now crazed Starfleet crew, Mara bridges the gap between the fighting forces so they can focus on the real threat - the fear and stress sucking alien creature who's been plaguing the two sides all along.  Mara helps Kang to realize the energy entity is the real enemy, and to basically live up to the line, I ain't afraid of no ghost!

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - K'Ehleyr - Suzie Plakson

Let's face it, Klingons can be just plain weird.  What of a half Human and half Klingon?  That was K'Ehleyr, and all who knew her could attest to the fact that she could be very weird indeed.  K'Ehleyr (Suzie Plakson) also had a fiery personality coupled with a dancer's grace and a lithe warrior's body.  She was the hybrid Human Klingon who displayed no affection nor real allegiance to either race, therefore, she operated in a kind of social limbo - effectively lost between two worlds.

Plakson made a real impression on fans as Worf's doomed love, but things may have turned out quite differently if the original choice to play the role had accepted  Actress Robin Curtis - Lt. Saavik - was offered the role first, but was busy with prior filming commitments.

Star Trek Sexy Spotlight - The Other Saavik - Robin Curtis

Saavik, as we originally knew her, didn't last long.  Actress Kirstie Alley (Look Who's Talking) who originated the role didn't put on the pointy ears for Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, the feature film follow-up to ST II: Wrath of Khan.  It's said financial agreements or requests from Alley's camp weren't indulged, and so a replacement was found.  Whatever the case in real life, the Saavik we got in front of the camera in director Leonard Nimoy's movie was actress Robin Curtis.

Curtis filled Alley's shoes (and ears) admirably.  She even went on to reprising the role - albeit not much more than a cameo - in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, which Nimoy also directed.  Robin Curtis couldn't seem to stray far from the Vulcan or Romulan race.  The New York actress also made a memorable appearance as a mercenary Romulan posing as a Vulcan on TV, in the The Next Generation 2 part episode, Gambit.

Hollywood stars move effortlessly through big roles in movies, TV and even appear on the Broadway stage in theater, starring in plays and musicals.  They may not be able to make the things they perform in truly better, but they certainly bring an amount of star power to brighten up the production.  Big names like Joan Collins (Dynasty), Joel Grey (Cabaret), Joe Piscopo (Saturday Night Live) and sexy Kirstie Alley (Cheers) add brilliant star power to Star Trek TV shows and feature films.
